Linear actuator basic scheme (Skema dasar pemasangan aktuator linier)

The following sceme should give basic understanding how to install linear actuator on vertical movement egg incubator rack.

The distance measurement between A and B is a critical measurement required to program the length of linear actuator movement to get correct egg tray angle position (usually 45 degree, but can be programmed upon your request).

Meneer Deni Garnida from Bandung, West Java send me a pic of an egg incubator he had designed and constructed.
Due to the requirement to mount the linear actuator at the outside to move internal egg tray up and down at 45 degree angle, I uploaded this scheme based on default values of HARL 18" actuator and our preprogrammed control module.
FAQ

Question: Why not programming the actuator stroke less than its full stroke (18") so I can reduce the sleeding rod and tube length?

Answer: I have two words to answer. First, 'savety' and second, 'power'.
I count the vertical movement of actuator based on internal reed sensor signal built in the actuator. It counts 46 for an inch. How supposed that the reed sensor miss some of it signals, my program of course will energize the motor until it reaches the proper count. Since you choose to shorten the BD lenght, the exceeding length of actuator stroke of course will destroy your mechanism, problem that won't happen if you choose to have full stroke length since the actuator have built in protector switch located at its end of longest and shortest stroke.
The longer the BD distance, the stronger torque will be gained at point D (egg tray shaft) by the same power source.

Question: May i change the angle by reducing or adding BD length?

Answer: Yes, you can reducing the angle by adding BD length. But be carefull to add the angle by reducing BD length. As long as it doesn't destroy your eggs and egg tray mechanism, it's ok to do so. But please not sue me for device failure just because you want the 'weird' angle value .. lol. Anyway, you do it all at your own risk.

Question: What package do you sell?
Answer: Buying a complete package for total Rp. 525.000,- you will get an actuator motor with easy plug and play wiring harness and a control module box with selectable fuse bits. All you have to do is mounting the actuator and pluging the jack to mains. Just it.
